Are Gift Certificates available for your catalog?
Yes! Gift cards are available in any dollar amount. We will send the card along with your personal greeting and our catalog. To order a gift card, please call our Mail Order department at 800-GRAFTON (800-472-3866). Please note, at this time, gift cards cannot be used on our website. They can be used in our retail stores only. We apologize for this inconvenience and are working on the issue.
Are tours of your factory available?
Walking tours inside our facilities are prohibited due to sanitary concerns. At each facility, we have a large viewing window where you can watch the cheese being made as well as a 10 minute video explaining the cheese making process. Directions to our Grafton and Brattleboro locations.

Groups can enjoy a complimentary visit from one of Grafton’s cheese makers who will explain the process of cheese making, while the observing the cheese making through the viewing window. Advance reservations are necessary. To arrange a bus or other group tour, please call us at 800-472-3866.

I need it in a hurry. Can you help me?
We offer two expedited shipping methods if you find yourself caught with too little time. We ship UPS 2-day Air as well as UPS Next Day Air. Saturday delivery is also available when using UPS Next Day Air. Please call our 800 number for exact quotes on your order. Order by the second wednesday of December, ship second day, and we will assure delivery for holiday arrival to any address in the 48 contiguous United States. Additional shipping time should be allowed for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories.
Can I freeze the cheese?
In general freezing cheese is not recommended. Texture and flavor are altered during the freezing process. If you MUST freeze the cheese we suggest shredding it first and wrapping it in air tight zip-lock freezer bags. Cheese that has been frozen can still be used for cooking with little or no flavor change.
How should Grafton Cheddars be served?
Always bring cheddar to room temperature before cutting or serving; this allows for maximum flavor. Cheddar goes very nicely with crusty breads, pear slices, grapes, olives and apples. For wine and beer pairings, click here.
What credit cards do you take?
We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard.
Do you have a store at your plants?
Yes! Both our locations feature retail stores offering all our cheddars (samples, too) along with other great Vermont products. Learn more about visiting our locations.
